Wellbeing: Project ideas

We collectively decide on what the rules of society are. How we interact. How we dress. How we work.

These (often unwritten) rules sometimes seem to be set in stone, but they’re not. Societies constantly evolve and there have been many instances where pressure of the crowd has contributed to fairness and increased wellbeing in societies at large (e.g. 40-hour workweek, women's rights, end of Apartheid).

Just some examples of project ideas (feel free to add in the comments below!):

  • Digital Detox Day: If X people commit to keeping their phones off to have meaningful conversations with the people around them, …
  • Stop Picture Perfect Social Media posts: If X people commit to stop sharing posts that paint a picture of a perfect life, …
  • 28 hour work week: If X people commit to start working 28/hours per week, instead of e.g. 40 (leaving more time for friends, family, and community work), …
  • High heels: If X people commit to not wearing high heels anymore, …
